Praying for Brisas and Biking

Many people are leaving the church for mission projects and for a biking trip in June.  The team going to Brisas Del Mar and the people traveling from Wyoming to Ohio could use your prayers.  We have a signup available for you to particpate in scheduled prayer times for everyone.  Below is the letter from Bill Maskiell:

Can you pray? Will you pray? On June 14th, at about 6:00 in the morning, Pastor Joe and Bill Maskiell will leave Casper, Wyoming.  Bill will be providing SAG (Support And Gear) support on Joe’s bicycle ride for the 1,430 miles to Batavia.  Joe’s plan is to ride about 100 miles a day, with one day of rest, for the next 15 days. They will be spending their evenings sharing the story of Brisas Del Mar with the congregations of the churches that have offered to let them spend the night in their facilities.

They would truly appreciate your prayers during that time. We are asking that you commit to a time of prayer at some point during that time. We are dividing the time into five blocks of 3 hours each:

6:00 – 9:00 AM

9:00 AM – Noon

Noon – 3:00 PM

3:00 – 6:00 PM

6:00 – 9:00 PM.

You would not be expected to spend the entire 3 hours praying.  However, saying a prayer or two during that block of time would be a great help.  Pray that they have a safe day, that their health and equipment remain in good condition and that their ministry to the people of Brisas Del Mar is effective.

If this is something you feel God calling you to be a part of, please sign up below or the chart in the church lobby. We know that God will honor your prayers whether Joe and Bill is aware of them or not, but it will be a great comfort to them to know that they are being covered in prayer.

Thank you!
